SSAS Annual General Meeting 2009
It is the time of the year to come together and meet again at
the SSAS AGM! The AGM provides a platform and opportunity for
members to network and form a collective “voice” to improve and
grow our Industry. The EXCO are therefore inviting members to
attend the AGM. AGM details are as follow:

This year’s Annual General Meeting
would be held on 18 September 2008, 6:00pm, at the Orchard
Hotel, Rosewood Room, Level 2. The AGM would be followed by

World Security
Forum, 7 - 9 October 2008
The 3rd World Security
Forum, co-organised by Certis CISCO and International Centre for
Security Management (ICSM), will be held at the Singapore
Management University from 7-9 October 2008. Held for the first
time in Singapore, this event will explore the theme of
‘Defining New Frontiers’. A host of eminent speakers have been
carefully selected to present ideas, concepts, findings and
research aimed at setting new directions for the security
industry. The forum will be graced by Minister for Law and
Second Minister for Home Affairs, Mr K Shanmugam as the Guest of
Honour.
Malaysia’s Home Affairs Minister,
Datuk Seri Syed Hamid will also be present to offer a special

Delegation to Intersec China 2008, 23 – 25 September 2008
Upon a
member initiative, SSAS is exploring the possibility to form a
delegation to make a group trip to attend the Intersec China
2008 exhibition and conference to be held in Shenzhen, from 23 –
